We’re incredibly proud to see our study collaborators in Portugal, Prof José Salgado-Borges, Prof Catarina Mateus and Dr Carla Lance, publish an insightful article in OftalPro on the integration of repeated low-level red light (RLRL) therapy into their pan-European multi-centre study on myopia management.
The article highlights how Portugal is contributing to a coordinated European effort with recruitment sites across France, Poland, Portugal, and Norway, to evaluate RLRL’s efficacy, safety, and acceptability in European children. It also acknowledges RLRL's consistent treatment effect demonstrated against a wide range of published studies thus far, particularly apparent in high myopia.
Thank you so much to the authors for sharing awareness on RLRL's growing body of evidence - we look forward to their interim analysis and the dissemination of even more evidence of RLRL's efficacy in diverse populations!
